June means LOVE LOVE LOVE as many choose to get married during this glorious summer month. Last month I was honored to photograph Lorri and Adam’s fabulous full moon solstice wedding in Red Feather Lakes. Many couples who I work with become friends, because we enjoy each other so much during their wedding, but Lorri and Adam are long time friends, which made this extra special for all of us. I may have been just as excited to show them their images as they were to see them.
Weddings are full of family, friends, everyone we love and for the bride and groom it is impossible to be everywhere at once. Which is one of the reasons it is so satisfying to share the images we’ve created.
There is a movement, that I am part of, in the world of professional photographers to educate our clients about the importance of having professionally printed archival images. My clients love it! For newly married couples, custom artwork or a handcrafted album is their first heirloom as husband and wife. Couples, families and parents are rediscovering the gift of beautiful fine art portraits for their homes. Everyone appreciates owning artistic, well designed custom artwork that grows in value over time (which is why it is an investment).
Remembering the joy we share and how we connect with those we love – I love that I get to do that!
