Senior Pictures Four Great Portrait Tips
Fort Collins and Northern Colorado is a great place to live and beautiful for senior pictures. Julie Ulstrup Photography has a few tips to make yours stunning.
1. Hire a professional photographer – sure you can have a friend snap a few shots on your cell phone, but you’ve spent 12 years in school and deserve to celebrate. Have a phone or in person consultation with your photographer to make sure she knows who you are and can make recommendations to help you look your best for your senior pictures. Give your family and friends senior pictures you can be proud of. You deserve to be bragged on!
2. Find out when your senior pictures are due to your yearbook and schedule your appointment now. Hey, you have a lot going on and so does your photographer. Be sure you get a great picture in the yearbook and get it in on time.
3. Choose clothes that reflect who you are. You don’t have to spend a lot of money, but wear something that shows your personality. Do you have a letter jacket, in the school play, have a cool car or a favorite pet – see if they can be part of your portrait session. Be sure to check with your photographer to see how many outfit changes and poses she allows for senior pictures.
4. Hair and Makeup, not just for girls. Hiring a professional photographer will make you look your best. If you have a “look” that you like, that’s what you should do on picture day. If you hire a professional for hair and makeup be sure to allow plenty of time before your senior pictures.
